Clear, straightforward pricing with no unnecessary upselling.
Where possible, I’ll explain the likely cost before work begins. If a job turns out to need substantially more time or a different approach, I’ll discuss that with you before going further.
£65 first hour
For home and small-business visits within the core service area.
This covers diagnosis and practical troubleshooting during the first hour. Additional time is charged in 15-minute increments.
If more time is needed, I’ll explain what is involved before continuing.
From £25
Suitable for many software, account, email, configuration and troubleshooting problems that do not require an on-site visit.
Remote support can often be the quickest and most economical way to resolve straightforward issues.
Remote support is charged at £25 for the first 30 minutes, with additional time charged in 15-minute increments.
£49 fixed price
A practical check of your PC or laptop, including diagnosis and minor clean-up where appropriate.
If the machine needs more substantial work, I’ll explain the options and quote separately before going further.
Some jobs are better completed away from your home or workplace, particularly reinstalls, data transfers, migrations and other time-consuming work.
These jobs are normally quoted separately according to the work involved, so you know the expected cost before committing.
From £199 per month
For small businesses that want a familiar point of contact and more predictable ongoing IT support without committing to a heavyweight MSP contract.
Support plans are tailored according to the size of the business and the level of support required.
Most local visits are covered by the standard on-site rate.
A £10 travel surcharge applies to some addresses outside the core service area.
Travel charges are based on postcode area and may vary for unusually remote locations or addresses near the edge of a zone.
Payment is due when the work is completed.
Payment can be made by card or bank transfer.
For longer or separately quoted work, any different payment arrangements will be agreed in advance.
I do not carry speculative stock or make money by adding unnecessary hardware mark-ups.
If replacement parts are needed, I’ll explain exactly what is required and why. In most cases, you can buy the part directly yourself.
If a job looks likely to become significantly more expensive than originally expected, I’ll stop and discuss the options with you first.
If repair stops making financial sense, replacement would be better value, or specialist help is required, I’ll tell you rather than continue charging unnecessarily.
Evening and weekend appointments may be available by arrangement. A £10 out-of-hours charge applies to evening, weekend and Bank Holiday callouts. Any additional charges will be agreed before the appointment is booked.
Tell me what is going wrong and I’ll recommend the most appropriate next step.
